Some hours the grid makes more wind and solar than it can use.
Surplus Map finds them, and pays you to charge in them.

Every 15 minutes we score each grid region from 0 to 100. High wind and solar, low demand: the region lights up.
When the forecast stays high, a reward window opens for that region, with a cap on devices so nobody creates a new peak.

Your EV or home battery charges inside the window. Set it by hand, or with your charger’s own scheduler.

We compare what your device used in the window with its own usual use over the last 10 similar days. Only the shifted energy counts.

Verified kWh earn credits from a funded pool. Each batch is hashed and written on Solana, so anyone can check their record.

Countries: renewable share of electricity (yearly). US: live surplus score by grid region.

Credits come out of a funded reward pool. No window can pay more than its share of the pool.
Only useful loads (EVs, batteries, water heaters, heat pumps). Using more power in total earns nothing.
A published baseline method, daily caps, and a random 10% control group in every window.
Surplus is local. A device only earns in windows for its own grid region.
One account per device, gap and anomaly checks, and a 7-day delay before credits unlock.
No personal or meter data on-chain. Only hashes and totals.
